Let’s face it, flying out of Dublin airport is a bit of a drag!

Parking, baggage check in machines that are out of order, queues at security check, long walks to the gate, and climbing aboard on a rainy day. Not a great way to start your trip.

I have travelled through Prague airport several hundred times and the experience is just completely different.

The building is modern, clean and spacious. Drop off at the airport is just 30 metres from the front door.  No long queues at the desk and you are processed in minutes.

Automated boarding pass and passport check take literally a minute.

But the best part is the baggage security check which takes place at the boarding gate leading to fewer queues and easier processing. The gates are located close the border control and access is short and easy.

If I was ever late for catching a flight, I would choose this airport over any other I have flown from.

Travel Tip: Download the Bolt taxi app. Its far cheaper than the Uber taxis stationed outside the door and they collect you in the short-term car park outside the terminal building withing 5 minutes of booking.
